❄️ LG Establishes Global R&D Network to Develop High-Performance Heat Pumps for Extreme Cold ❄️ LG Electronics (LG) is creating a global R&D network spanning North America, Europe, and Asia to lead the heat pump market and develop next-generation heat pumps for cold climates. The initiative aims to produce region-specific technologies optimized for the harsh winters of Northern Europe through the establishment of the European Consortium for Advanced Heat Pump Research (ECAHR). ❄️ Following the launch of its advanced heat pump research laboratory in Alaska last year, LG is collaborating with leading European universities to enhance the performance of its HVAC products in low-temperature environments. 🖥️ LG to Showcase AI-Equipped Digital Business Displays at InfoComm 2024 🖥️ From June 12-14, LG Electronics (LG) will participate in InfoComm, North America's largest professional audiovisual trade show, with its own exhibition stand. In a 225 squaremeters space, LG will unveil its latest AI-equipped digital business display solutions for retail, enterprise, and education. 🖥️ A highlight of LG's stand will be the debut of the next-generation Micro LED display, set to hit the market by the end of the year. This model leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance image quality and overall performance. 🖥️ LG's Micro LED display features tiny LED chips, approximately 16 micrometers in diameter and 27 micrometers long, delivering exceptionally detailed images with high contrast and vivid colors. Using advanced AI technology, LG manufactured and meticulously evaluated 25 million of these chips for the 136-inch model. The display itself also uses an AI processor to analyze the brightness and tone of the LED chips in real-time, automatically calibrating them to ensure optimal image quality. The new T90S model was created using graphene, i.e. a layer of graphite with a thickness of one atom, with which the device offers a more comfortable fit than before. The T90S earphones provide a more accurate, clearer, and richer sound experience than their predecessors, thanks to the fact that the designers used pure graphene to create the drivers instead of the traditional coated graphene. 🎧 This lightweight and sustainable material helps to increase performance and efficiency in many technologies, such as semiconductors and solar cells. The use of pure graphene in LG's latest earphones reduces vibrations and makes sounds coming from the diaphragms more balanced and accurate, with powerful bass and enhanced mid and high frequencies. An important consideration in the design of the T90S earphones was that the product itself should be light and comfortable to wear in the long term - and the use of graphene greatly contributed to its realization. The innovative material was designed to preserve product hygiene and has many uses. It has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties and prevents the spread of microorganisms and associated odors. 🔈 Glass powder can be incorporated into various materials such as plastics, paints, and rubber. The durable antimicrobial material is chemically stable and tolerates temperature fluctuations well. LG started developing antimicrobial glass powder in 1996 and now holds about 219 patents related to producing and applying glass powder.
