We are proud to announce that Lufthansa Technik Budapest for the first time performed a mirror fitting embodiment, which is a new most modern structural repair method developed by Airbus for the A320 Family cockpit window frames. Our highly valued customer Brussels Airlines is the first customer who is profiting from this repair which is much more cost-efficient and faster than the replacement of the window frames of the cockpit. We want to thank Airbus Industries for the perfect cooperation enabling the Lufthansa Technik base maintenance facilities to provide this repair as well as the similar pistol fitting repair as one of the first MROs worldwide to our customers. 🏃♂️✈️ Last Saturday afternoon, the airport runway turned into a real race track! ✈️🏃♂️ Our LTB running team enthusiastically participated in the charity race called BUD Runway Run. 🏅 The participation wasn’t just about the joy of running, but also about supporting important causes: the SUHANJ! The summer season couldn't end without modernization at Lufthansa Technik Budapest Ltd! ✈️ Recently, the #renovation of our #structure shop and office was completed, allowing our colleagues to return to an even more #modern and #comfortable workspace after their summer break. As part of the renovation, we replaced the ceiling and wall soundproofing, refurbished the flooring, repainted the walls and pipes, and installed new desks. A felújítás keretében többek között lecseréltük a plafon és az oldalfalak hangszigetelését, felújítottuk a padlót, lefestettük a falakat és a csöveket, valamint új asztalok is elhelyezésre kerültek a területen. This environmentally friendly engine type is the future of aviation (less noise, less fuel, less CO2), and the next generation of aircraft mechanics will mainly work on this engine type."
