BravoExpo, organized by our parent company BravoGroup on the 19th of September, was a special occasion for our Information and Network Security (InfoSec) division, because this year marks 20 years since the business unit directors Peter Sajo and Balazs Imre started dealing with IT security solutions. They later brought this competence within the walls of SOCWISE, therefore today the company has 2 decades of experience in this field as well.  On this occasion we held an exciting and informative workshop about the beginnings of IT security, the challenges and solutions of today, and the not-so-distant future. The focus of the event was on adapting to the rapidly changing technological environment and the security challenges that all companies will face sooner or later, but not always with the same level of preparedness. The workshop was opened by Péter Sajó, Director of InfoSec Division, who presented the trends in cybersecurity and the technologies that can be used to address them, building on the experience of the last two decades.  Gergely Lesku, Head of International Operations, continued with a presentation on future cybersecurity strategies and market trends, focusing on the rapid evolution of threats and how to respond to them.  Further in the day, Tamas Barna of Trend Micro presented the benefits of the platform approach. Zsolt Vilhelm from Palo Alto Networks spoke about the future of SOC modernization and how automation can increase efficiency.  In closing, our GRC consultant Peter Huvelyes presented the new compliance requirements related to the NIS2 Directive and the solutions that can help companies to successfully meet the requirements of the regulation while minimizing their cybersecurity risks.  In a special presentation following the workshop, Péter Sajó specifically highlighted the importance of AI as a key element of the future of cybersecurity, which will bring revolutionary innovations in how the Security Operations Center (SOC) operates, redefines roles and resources.  The workshop and separate presentation provided a unique opportunity for our customers to learn about the latest trends and technologies that will help them prepare for the cybersecurity challenges of the future. On the 19th of September, we participated in the bi-annual professional event of our parent company Bravo Group, this time at Lupa Beach.
