#reference | We are proud to reveal our latest project, a family home in Rózsadomb, where Timbart provided not only hardwood flooring, but also bespoke furniture, designed by Kata Suto. The comfort and functionality of the kitchen is enhanced by our custom curved kitchen island - made from veneered oak and painted MDF and featuring slatted paneling and a marble top - and our kitchen furniture, which has custom wooden handles. These designs continue throughout the hallway furniture as well, creating perfect harmony within the home.   The solid oak staircase, the Swedish plank flooring and the herringbone oak parquet span several rooms, further reinforcing the cohesive aesthetic. Upstairs, a Timbart side table made from burned oak completes the interior.   The wooden accents and flooring bring warmth and rich texture to the space, offering a pleasant contrast to the interiors and creating a homely atmosphere. Marcel Wanders has always been keen on supporting and collaborating with young designers, and thanks to this dedication, the DAIMOND wall covering came to life this year. The DAIMOND wall covering system designed by Marcel Wanders was produced by the Hungarian company Timbart. Timbart debuted with a 20 sqm dedicated space at the Rossana Orlandi Gallery during Salone del Mobile in Milan, featuring a piece of its brand universe through not only collectible design pieces designed by Timbart’s founder and Creative Director, Mark Cselovszki, but also hardwood surfaces. Márk is a self-made designer who develops bespoke objects, furniture, and surfaces rooted in an in-depth understanding of design's material and technical sides. Each Timbart product is a masterpiece, a testament to the unique artisanal processing and the use of special types of wood. The presence of knots and pinworm holes, far from flaws, are celebrated as part of nature and the wood itself. The special oiling and colouring treatment Márk employs is a secret technique, a nod to the rich history of design in ancient China thousands of years ago.
