Oh Well 03:52
In the summer, it's too warm to ever think a single thought. I am bound by the sweat and the songs trapped in my head, and I am bound by the little things I'm not. Every bone inside my body screams in fear of the unknown. Every atom sings out well, oh well, oh well. Oh well, oh well, oh well. Yes, the winter's much too cold, to ever dream of leaving here. What's the point of making dates, when I'll just keep making mistakes? I prefer to live in the near. Every bone inside my body screams in fear of the unknown. Every atom sings out well, oh well, oh well. Oh well, oh well, oh well. I'm scared of trying, cause I don't know. I'm scared of asking, cause I don't know. Scared of admitting, that I don't know. I'm scared of knowing what I don't know. I'm scared of something, well I don't know. Scared of the future, cause I don't know. Scared of the future, cause no one knows. Every bone inside my body screams in fear of the unknown. Every atom sings out well, oh well, oh well. Oh well, oh well, oh well.

To Do 02:31
You may as well settle down, among those lovely clouds. To remember you is hard to do, when I'm gone. I'm sworn to this life I lead, and I don't think I can leave. To remember you is hard to do, when I'm lost. I'm not the best at names. I can't put them to their face. But I'll try to learn, and I'll try to learn again.

about

So let’s say your sixteen. And somehow you find yourself in Swaziland, Africa. Home schooled. Alone. Eating wheat toast. What would you do? Correct. You would learn the banjo... In 2011, my family and I moved to a small (talkin’ New Jersey size) country, known as the Kingdom of Swaziland to about a million people. Coming from Dallas, Texas really puts into perspective how different my life became. Here in Africa, I realized that music is about the only thing that really makes sense in the universe. It explains the unexplainable, it shows who people really are, and it says the things that people can’t say. Its transcendent and it’s beautiful. So here I am, trying to figure out the world on top of a mountain somewhere in Southern Africa, and guitars and piano and the mandolin and singing to myself in the shower are the only things I really can figure out. So I hope you’ll enjoy what I’ve figured out so far…
