We are a purpose-driven business on a mission to end the ocean plastic crisis. Over 30 million pounds of trash removed!

Tentang kami

4ocean is a mission-driven for-profit business, dedicated to ending the ocean plastic crisis. Over 30 million pounds of trash removed from the world's oceans, rivers, and coastlines since 2017! Founded In 2017, 4ocean was created with the mission to sell a product that would enable the company to fund a worldwide cleanup initiative. This is how our first product, the 4ocean bracelet, was born. Made from recycled materials, every bracelet purchased funds the removal of five pounds of trash from the ocean and coastlines. In less than 6 years, we have sold enough bracelets to enable us to pull over 30 million pounds of trash from the ocean. Bracelet sales are just the beginning. We are building an assortment of high quality, sustainably-made products that will help people reduce their dependence on single-use plastic, reuse the materials we collect from the ocean, and celebrate the 4ocean brand and ocean-conscious lifestyle. Beyond our products, we combat the ocean plastic crisis through technology, cleanups, influence, and education. We are a for-profit business, because we believe in creating sustainable, profitable business models around cleaning the ocean rather than relying on external funding. Our ocean clean-up operations, currently in the U.S., Guatemala, and Indonesia, are meticulously documented and audited for transparency, and are regularly expanding to new locations and deploying new clean-up technologies. As of May 2023, our operations employ hundreds of people around the world, pulling trash seven days a week.

What else can you do with discarded fishing nets washed up on the beach? Turn this trash into something amazing. ♻️ In partnership with Rip Curl, artists Reyanne M. and Bree B. teamed up with our local 4ocean artisans to weave every thread of this canvas for Rip Curl Indonesia’s flagship store in Canggu, Indonesia. It’s proof that when we get creative and work together, we can turn ocean trash into inspiring sustainable art. 💙 🎥: Vanessa B.

This week, in honor of World Sustainability Day, we’re spotlighting different ways you can bring more sustainability to your everyday life. ♻️ Brands like GoodPop and their ice-cold treats are on a mission to do good, like responsibly designed packaging and supporting cleaner oceans as a 4ocean Plastic Neutral Partner. For every pound of plastic GoodPop uses to make its products, we remove the equivalent amount of plastic from our oceans, rivers and coastlines. 🌎 Together, we’re feeling pretty good about that. 😎
