The 2024 Asia-Pacific Regional Conference on Population Ageing (APRCOPA), organized by HelpAge International in collaboration with Indonesia's Ministry of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) held on 11-13 September 2024. Under the theme "Reframing Ageing," the conference brought together stakeholders from 38 countries, providing a dynamic platform for exchanging experiences, exploring innovative approaches, and fostering meaningful relationships. As part of APRCOPA, the Local Government Forum (LGF) and a dinner were hosted on 11 September 2024, by BAPPENAS and the Australian Government through the SKALA Program, with support from HelpAge International. The event was attended by around 400 stakeholders. The dinner began with a food parade, followed by a three-course Western Set Menu exquisitely prepared by our talented chefs. The evening’s agenda included experience-sharing sessions, talk shows, discussions, entertainment, and concluded with the announcement of the best questioner. Urology Charity Run & Ride (UroCare) held on 8 September 2024. The routes were particularly scenic, with UroRide circling south bali and UroRun passing along the beach. UroCare is part of the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Indonesian Urological Association (ASMIUA) 2024, organized by the Indonesian Urological Association (InaUA). The 21st Urological Association of Asia (UAA) Congress, in conjunction with the 47th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Indonesian Urological Association (ASMIUA) and the 18th Pan-Pacific Continence Society (PPCS) Meeting featured an exhibition on 3-8 September 2024. The exhibition featured 109 booths of medicinal products, digital-based surgery tools and health robots in the field of urological medicine from various countries. The 21st Urological Association of Asia (UAA) Congress, in conjunction with the 47th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Indonesian Urological Association (ASMIUA) and the 18th Pan-Pacific Continence Society (PPCS) Meeting held on 3-8 September 2024. Attended by around 3,000 urology experts from 60 countries, mainly from Asia. The theme of the 21st UAA Congress, "Integrating Urological Frontiers: Transformative Innovation Meets Global Collaboration," emphasizes the importance of transformative innovation and global cooperation in addressing challenges in urology. Twenty-one international urological associations and eight national urological organizations are participating in the congress. The opening ceremony was marked by the symbolic plunge of a Kris by the President of UAA 2024, accompanied by the President of the Indonesian Urological Association (InaUA), the Secretary General of UAA, and the Bali Provincial Secretary. The congress has been covered key topics such as uro-oncology, andrology, reconstructive urology, endourology, neurourology, pediatric urology, and female urology. A highlight of the event is the presentation of cutting-edge technology in robotic surgery, particularly telerobotic surgery. The UAA Congress is an annual event aimed at promoting urology in Asia and improving urological patient care in the region, which accounts for 60% of the world’s population. The Ministry of Communications and Informatics hosted a Media Center to accomodate journalists in covering The High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships (HLF MSP) and Indonesia Africa Forum (IAF) 2024 on 1-3 September 2024. The center facilitated 486 journalists, including representatives from 24 foreign media outlets, and offered comprehensive facilities and professional services to ensure the swift and accurate dissemination of information throughout the forum. The HLF MSP and IAF 2024 were attended by President Joko Widodo and several heads of state. The Hospital Management Asia (HMA) 2024 started with an Opening Ceremony on 28 August 2024 and officially opened by the President of the Indonesian Private Hospitals Association, Drg. The Asian Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditors (ACIIA) Regional Conference was held on 28-29 August 2024, attended by more than 730 participants from 19 countries.
