For the first time, we’re bundling eCards from multiple merchants into a single, versatile product. Instead of purchasing an eCard that can only be used at a single merchant, our Category Cards allow consumers to spend at a merchant of their choice. Today we are launching two variants – the Retail Category Card (Mayer Marketing Pte Ltd, Lenskart.com, Welcia-BHG Singapore Pte Ltd & more) and the F&B Category Card (Häagen-Dazs Shops, Udders Ice Cream, Sakae Sushi & more)– check out the brands available on each below. Further, until now Fave eCards were only available on the Fave app. With this launch, Fave Category Cards will be available for purchase directly by corporates, opening new possibilities for distribution, engagement and rewards at scale. Fave Category Cards will amplify our merchants’ reach like never before. By extending the availability of eCards beyond the Fave app, we’re tapping into new customer bases. Fave Expands DuitNow QR to Enable Seamless Cross-Border Payments At Fave, our mission is to help partners and merchants grow while rewarding consumers with cashback and savings for their spending. A key pillar of this mission is streamlining payment acceptance. Two months ago, we launched the Fave DuitNow QR, enabling our partners and merchants to accept payments from any supported app, such as MAE, Touch 'n Go Group, Boost and GrabPay. Today, we are excited to announce the next evolution of the Fave DuitNow QR. In collaboration with Paynet, we have now enabled cross-border payments on Fave DuitNow QR, allowing you to accept payments from over 10 eWallets from China, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Korea. This includes popular options such as Alipay and Weixin/WeChat (China), DBS Bank PayLah! and OCBC Digital app (Singapore), GCash (Philippines), Kakao Pay (South Korea) and TrueMoney (Thailand), among many others. Cross-border QR payments allow tourists to make instant payments using their own banking and e-wallet apps to merchants in Malaysia, eliminating the need to carry bulky wallets or convert currencies. With incoming tourists to Malaysia increasing by 26% in the first five months of 2024 to 9.5 million, it is crucial for merchants to seamlessly accept cross-border payments. All cross-border payments will be settled in MYR the next day, or at a frequency of your choosing, alongside domestic transactions. Yesterday, the FAVE teams in Malaysia and Singapore united for a day filled with insights, creativity and camaraderie, enhancing our collective spirit as #oneteam. The day commenced with the exhilarating FaveShot Challenge, a shark tank-style session where teams pitched innovative growth ideas to a panel of judges including our Co-Founder Chen Chow Yeoh, VP of Product Suman De, CTO Arzumy MD, Regional FC Michelle Pei Yee Lee FCCA, Head of Payment, Business Sharad Gulhar and Varun Varma, CFA, General Manager of Fave SEA Then, Fave-ers partook in an invigorating Fave Quest, embarking on a series of mini quests that included a fashion contest using recycled materials, a balloon stacking competition and a trivia session. The day culminated with the Fave Awards ceremony, where individuals who have made outstanding contributions to our business were recognised and celebrated.
