We love Rhino 8 AMD ProRender Even More Now! And it's fun using it! It's exterior visualization time. Heavy and brute testing of AMD ProRender and Rhino 8 showed unexpectedly amazing result. We would highly recommend AMD ProRender for rendering because of these 5 solid reasons: 1. Much better quality than Rhino's cycles. 2. FREE. Yes, it's completely free, unlike any other rendering plugins for Rhino. 3. Works well with Rhino 8. 4. Very stable, as we didn't experienced any single crash when creating this exterior scene from an image found in the web, and rendering has never been as fun! 5. Unbelievably fast! You could see the rendering iterations had gone to nearly 400 in just 1 minute! As for Rhino 8 features, the scene was created from zero, in just about 2 hours. New Rhino 8 features has brought a new level of productivity in modeling, material mapping and rendering. Rig being used to perform the test is simply last year's config: - AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS - 32GB RAM - AMD Radeon 680m and Nvidia RTX 3060 Bear in mind, the scene is not using any light source other than emissive materials, and it's not finished yet. We have a new rendering favorite in Rhino! and it's FREE! We tested AMD ProRender in Rhino 8, using standard Rhino PBR materials. And the result is awesome! There were some stability issues. However, our workaround seemed to be working just fine as we don't experience any crashes again. AMD ProRender rendering result has just win our heart and it's free. Yes, it's free to download through Rhino's package manager and use. Another bonus is, it's fast. See the rendering time in the viewport to know how fast it was to have the result, in seconds. We may say, architects and interior designers would love it over Cycles.
