In a find that could challenge beliefs about the ancient Egyptian pyramids, archaeologists have discovered pyramid tombs in the Egyptian New Kingdom settlement of Tombos that contain the bodies of both elites and common laborers. This is remarkable, as all previous evidence suggested that pyramid tombs were reserved for pharaohs and their fellow aristocrats. https://lnkd.in/eTeSDB7v #Nubia #Tombos #EgyptianPyramids #NewKingdom #EgyptianTombs #Siamun
