Our director, Cian Dowling, had the honour of speaking at this year's Riverwalk Sustainability Conference, where industry leaders gathered to discuss energy efficiency, climate resilience, and the future of sustainable building practices. Cian's insights were well received, emphasising the critical role that businesses must play in achieving LEED certification and creating green buildings for a sustainable future. It's inspiring to see the progress being made and the vision shared by so many passionate individuals at this event.

#DCseries Another look back at our previous data centre work, this project brief was to provide a containerised 1MW data centre, in 100kW modules. The Axiseng scope was to provide the design and site monitoring services of the electrical services installation, ensuring an efficient, flexible, but also scalable solution. Axiseng collaborated with the client team throughout the process, to produce a unique modular system, that constructed off site in a controlled environment, and thereafter delivered to site as a “turnkey” packaged solution. The design was carried out in strict accordance with the uptime institute Tier III concurrently maintainable methodology. Some key challenges that we overcame on this project were the constraints of working within the spatial parameters of the shipping containers, ensuring the space was utilised to ensure maximum capacity, but also fully maintainable, and fully coordinated in BIM to ensure adequate airflow was provided. As part of our duties, we carried out a full protection study, philosophy, and schedule of protective device settings for implementation by the switchgear provider.   #modular #BespokeDesign #DataCentre #turnkey #tierIII #ContainerisedSolution #AirCooled
