It was National Women's Enterprise Day yesterday and Skai O’Sullivan and Eadaoin Dowling were at events in Drogheda and Carlow! Sinead O Brien, Irene Frisby, Linda Codoul, Rosemary Ward, Kate Gaynor spoke at the event in Carlow. It was so inspiring to hear their stories and how they built their business. The key take away is that we as women, need to continue to build each other up and how society as a whole need to support. The true sign of a strong women is how we continue through the hard times and come out stronger. At the event in Drogheda, the speakers were Caroline O'Neill, the founder of The Digg Community, Elizabeth Oakes, the founder of Pure Reflections, Emma Crewe is the founder of My Forever Tooth Fairy, Geraldine Johnston of Boyne Communications and the MC, broadcaster,Alison Comyn. They talked about the importance of defining what success looks like for you and delegating, communicating and collaborating to achieve that. They also talked about the importance of taking action. We had an amazing evening last night at the Metis Ireland event. Paula Leitch spoke so much sense when it came to thinking about our money and how money is just a tool and it gives you the option of choices. She also talked about how there is no right or wrong way when it comes to how you spend your money, your money has to work for the goals you have right now in your life.
