Bord Bia recently welcomed 14 Southeast Asian customers to Ireland as part of its EU co-funded campaign promoting dairy in Southeast Asia. This hands-on experience showcased Ireland's farming and production systems and facilitated new connections between the Irish dairy industry and customers in key markets across Asia.

Last week, journalists from leading publications in the U.S and the UAE visited Ireland to experience the high-quality and sustainable Irish dairy. As part of the media visit the group visited a number of Irish dairy companies including Killowen Farm, Tirlán, Carbery Group, Glenstal Foods and Lakeland Dairies

Here is famous Chinese chef Gao Xinyu, adapting Irish beef to a popular Chinese culinary dish in China.   Bord Bia's Chef Master event showcased grass fed beef from Ireland to participants in Beijing, giving them a deeper understanding of high-quality produce from Ireland.  

Great news for Ireland’s #sustainable #farming practices AgNav which provides tailored farm sustainability support and solutions for Irish farmers has been shortlisted for the prestigious International Dairy Federation #Innovation #Awards.  AgNav was selected by the jury of global dairy experts as the only Irish finalist from 153 applications representing 25 countries. This is testimony to the collaboration and partnership working by Teagasc, Bord Bia - The Irish Food Board and ICBF supported by Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine to deliver #science led support and planning tools to help farmers deliver on climate action. GLAS, Ireland’s trade event for the horticulture sector - supported by Bord Bia, takes place tomorrow at the National Basketball Arena for the third year in a row. Bord Bia is excited to engage with the exhibitors and visitors at the event which has expanded upon last year to also include an outdoor exhibition area. GLAS will feature 82 leading horticulture exhibitors, including 23 nurseries and 24 new exhibitors. This premier exhibition of Ireland's horticulture industry has established itself as a key date in the diaries of all those working within the industry, and with an increase in exhibitors and a record number of pre-registered visitors, it is sure to be a rewarding day for all involved.
