Delighted to announce our second speaker at our Cavan Dublin Business Networking event on Wednesday, 2 April in @Chartered Accountants House in collaboration with Local Enterprise Office Cavan, Cavan County Council and the European Enterprise Network (EEN).   Leanne Connell is currently Manager of the Cavan Digital Hub. Excited to announce our first speaker at our Cavan Dublin Business Networking event on Wednesday, 2 April in collaboration with Local Enterprise Office Cavan, Cavan County Council and the European Enterprise Network (EEN).   Gerard Smith is a current Cavan GAA footballer and works in Finance and Operations with Trave - Construction Management (Rhymes with 'Rave' seemingly!), a construction management technology business based in Cavan Digital Hub.   Gerard will give us a talk on Trave's story so far, it's current activities and its plans following the company's current funding round. Trave help construction businesses manage workflows better by keeping track of money, their people and their projects in one simple Enterprise Resource planning (ERP) platform that is SME-friendly.   🔗 Registration for our event is currently open (Eventbrite registration link is in the comments). Great evening in Cavan Digital Hub this evening where Paul Gilcreest spoke of how his company Trave - Construction Management, (which helps small and medium construction companies bring together and streamline their processes), evolved from an idea and start up in a home garage to a successful business hoping to compete on a global scale. He cited the practical supports of the Local Enterprise Office Cavan, the knowledge gained on the Enterprise Ireland's New Frontiers programme and the facilities of Cavan Digital Hub as key to growth. Conor Craven, Gillian Madden and Karl Kelly from the Local Enterprise Office Cavan then set out some of the many supports available for start up businesses and encouraged anyone with a business idea to go talk to them to find out more. Garrett Duffy from Dundalk Institute of Technology spoke about the benefits and next phases of the Enterprise Ireland's New Frontiers programme which closes for applicants on the 10th of March and referenced some very successful past attendees in the North East Region, some of whom were coincidentally in the audience!
