Is air fryer world domination coming to an end? 🍟🌎 Or worse: more “hard” pants? 🕴️  Upon reflecting on Prime Day 2023 vs. 2024, we saw two industries switch places  for the top performing spot and one unassuming apparel item take precedence in shoppers’ baskets. According to ChannelSight data, Prime Day 2023 had Home Appliances as the top performing industry - in both clicks (50% of total clicks) and revenue (over 45%), followed by Consumer Electronics with 23% share of unique clicks and nearly 20% share of brand revenue. Prime Day 2024 saw these industries trade places. Consumer Electronics came out on top - with overall sales surging 61% compared to average daily June figures. Home appliances came second with small kitchen appliances claiming the top spot, recording a 76% rise in sales. In third place for this year was the apparel sector - where suits saw a 36% surge in sales, followed by outerwear, footwear, and accessories. Will these top industries remain leaders in this year’s holiday shopping season too? Learn more on Prime Day consumer behaviours: https://lnkd.in/gybjqAjU
