We’re thrilled to share insights from the most recent issue of Cork Chamber’s magazine, ChamberLink. Dave A. Barry, FCIPD, esteemed trainer and founding director of Conexion.ie®, explores the critical topic of upskilling in the age of AI. Here are some highlights: 🧠 Development is now the Primary Retainer/Attractor 🧠 Since 1986, the 70:20:10 model has guided learning and development. Now in 2024, development has become the key element for organisations to attract and retain talent. 🔑 Essential Skills for Success 🔑 To thrive, businesses need a blend of both 'soft' and 'hard' skills: -- Soft Skills: Leadership and management, collaboration and teamwork, communication -- Hard Skills: Digitalisation (AI, cloud computing etc.), marketing and sales, sustainable supply chain 📚 Upcoming Courses to Bridge the Skills Gap 📚 Cork Chamber Skillnet are excited to offer courses that align with these critical skills such as: ChatGPT for Marketing, Management Practices for High Team Performance, and UCD Professional Academy Diploma in Diversity, Equity, Belonging, & Inclusion (DEBI). 👉 📩 Subscribe to our Cork Chamber Skillnet weekly newsletter here for early access to bookings, exclusive training updates, and news on free and certified courses (https://lnkd.in/ebTie3bD) 📩 👈 #Upskilling #AI #TalentManagement #LearningAndDevelopment #TrainingTrends #WorkplaceTraining #ProfessionalGrowth
