Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming colleagues from across the criminal justice sector and academia to an event that centered on leveraging data for informed decision-making in the criminal justice field. Forensic Science Ireland FSI, Irish Prison Service and Legal Aid Board shared insights into different approaches and challenges in utilising data to inform decision making. This was complimented by presentations from researchers at Trinity College Dublin, Maynooth University and University of Limerick on a range of topics utilising different data sources. We would like to express our gratitude to all the presenters and participants who contributed to the success of the event. Your insights and expertise enriched the discussions. Thank you for your valuable contributions to this meaningful dialogue.
