This Wednesday, July 24th, Dublin City Council held a successful event at Innovation Hub, CHQ, to launch the very first ‘Car Share Day’. As the world moves toward a more sustainable and greener future, car rental businesses are playing a crucial role in this global effort. Increasing the popularity of car rental services is essential for achieving an environmentally friendly and sustainable city. The purpose of launching this day was to create awareness about use of car share and to put this day on the map for future annual events. Linear Park between Cross Guns Bridge and Binns Bridge was opened last week as part of the #ActiveTravelNetwork Royal Canal Phase 3 project. This first phase of the reopening comprises the entire northern towpath (alongside the railway line), the new pedestrian and cycle bridge at Lock 3 and the southern towpath between Glengarriff Parade and the former Spain’s warehouse (to the rear of Saint Ignatius Road) #ClimateAction

As part of the #ActiveTravelNetwork Clontarf to City Centre Scheme 500m of outbound cycle-track along Amiens Street and North Strand Road extending from Talbot Street junction to Seville Terrace was opened today, Friday 19th of July. The protected arrangement on the Five Lamps Junction is now open to cyclists travelling in all directions #ClimateAction
