The six leading Irish VFX studios—Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., Windmill Lane, EGG Post Production and VFX, Outer Limits Post Production, Piranha Bar, and First Element have contributed to major Amazon productions and continue to see increasing global demand. With 100% growth between 2021 and 2022 alone, the Irish VFX sector continues to thrive. Ireland’s strategic location, English-speaking talent, and the Section 481 tax incentive make it a prime hub to serve the U.S market. We are hiring !! We are looking for a DMP artist for a short term contract for an upcoming episodic drama. The work will include creating a skyline around the period of the 1870s, and will need to be historically accurate. Candidates will need to be based in Ireland, to be eligible, along with being proficient in photoshop in creating Digital matte paintings in the correct colour space and LOD. As a matte painter you will be responsible for developing the highly realistic matte paintings using the latest 2D and 2.5D techniques. A good knowledge of Nuke compositing workflows, as well as production environment experience (via Shotgrid) is essential.
