As part of our trade mission to the US East Coast, Irish workflow automation company, Tines announce the expansion of their US team by 35%, with over 40 new jobs in Massachusetts. Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Peter Burke and Enterprise Ireland CEO Leo Clancy, visited Tines’s Boston office to celebrate their expansion, which will include new US roles in engineering, product development, management, and marketing. Headquartered in Dublin, Tines have recently raised an additional $50 million in an oversubscribed Series B extension round, with the company having raised a total of $145 million since its foundation in 2018. Trinity College Dublin-based start-up Amethyst Care Start Up Project, which is developing an AI-powered voice assistant for people with mobility issues, has raised more than €500,000 from Enterprise Ireland. The company, which is based in the university’s ADAPT Centre – the Science Foundation Ireland research centre for AI-driven digital content technology, aims to help detect early signs of cognitive decline and enable timely interventions that could delay or mitigate the symptoms of cognitive illnesses. Enterprise Ireland DACH wrapped up a successful three-day study visit to Magdeburg, Germany this week. 17 leading Irish construction and engineering firms travelled to Berlin and Magdeburg to explore local semiconductor opportunities and to gain insight into the local business landscape and culture. During the visit the delegation engaged with legal partners, public bodies, consultants and local stakeholders.
