The Irish Space Technology Showcase took place today at EastPoint, Dublin. Organised by Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland , with support from the European Space Agency - ESA and the Irish delegation to ESA, the event was opened by Emer Higgins, the Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail. It featured 22 innovative Irish companies and 15 European space-relevant entities, fostering commercial partnerships and collaborations within the space supply chain. The keynote address was delivered by Charlotte Mathieu, Head of the Industrial Policy and Space Economy Division at ESA, with presentations from industry leaders such as Airbus Defence and Space, SME4SPACE, and Eurospace. This showcase provided a significant opportunity to explore the Irish space ecosystem and understand the national strategy for this dynamic sector.
