🌎🍫 We had a wonderful time at the Chocoa #chocolate #festival in #Amsterdam. We met old friends and got to know new friends. 🌳🦋 These were days of learning and seeing what the world of #chocolate is like today, despite the difficult problems faced by farmers at #origin , related to #climatechange , #climatejustice, the dominance of large companies, speculation, the violation of #humanrights and the continued invisibility of #smallproducers who are key to our #foodsystems 🌱👩🏽🌾 It was exciting to accompany the friends from @workakao , @chocoloveartesano who won the @cacaoofexcellence in #2024 after having visited them last January on their farm in #Colombia and also other Colombian #cacao #farmers. In addition, it was great to see many cacao farmers from many parts of the #world who do an amazing work from their diverse origins promoting quality #treetobar and #chocolatemakers #beantobar working for a more #ethical and #sustainable chocolate. 💚🫱🏻🫲🏽 Thanks to all and we will see you again soon! #ethicalbusiness #sustainablechocolate #businesswithpurpose

👩🏽🌾🍫 It was amazing to visit last January our friends from @workakao #gold #winners of @cacaoofexcellence 2024 in #amsterdam at @chocoa.nl one of the best #cacao in #southamerica and the #world. 🌱🦋 Visiting a region that I have known since I was a child and where I have worked in #humanrights #sustainability and #education in previous years was a great joy. The first of many to come soon! 🌱👩🏽🌾🦋 We had the opportunity to share with #ethical and #responsible consumers about high quality chocolate made at origin and also with great stories of men and women #cocoa #farmers in #Colombia behind and under the best #environmental and #social practices. 🌎🍫🌳 We also had the opportunity to try chocolates from other origins such as Menakao from #Madagascar and have a great conversation with the public about what we consume and how we support people at origin #people and take care of our #planet. 🙏🏽👏🍫Thanks to Salesforce #UK & #Ireland and to Emma O'Connell for the invitation tho share what we do.

🌎🌳 Exactly three months ago, we had the opportunity to travel between #Brazil and #Colombia and see the impressive #Amazon from the air again. We worked in some regions of the Amazon in the past. 🦜🐆Although according to a new report, there is a reduction in the Amazon #deforestation curve, it is incredible and very sad to see the margins of the immense jungle and how far the depredation goes. 🚜🛣 We can see the patches and the large roads for wood extraction, monocultures, mining (Photos 4 to 7).
