This week we were thrilled to welcome some students from Maynooth Community College to our Hotel! These wonderful students met with our Executive Head Chef, Bernard McGuane for a tour of the kitchen, and then went on to do a tour of the Leisure Club and Rooms. As our expert sports massage therapist, Kim brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. Keep reading to learn more about Kim and her passion for wellness. What brought you to the wellness industry? I’ve always had a passion for sports, fitness, and overall well-being. After experiencing how much sports massage helped me recover from training and injuries, I knew I wanted to help others in the same way. The wellness industry felt like a natural fit for combining my love of fitness with helping people. What’s your favourite treatment or service to offer to clients, and why? I’d have to say deep tissue massage—it’s fantastic for releasing chronic tension and helping athletes recover. It’s amazing to see how much better people feel after just one session, especially when they’ve been dealing with pain or stiffness for a long time. What do you think makes NOA Spa stand out from other spas in the area? It’s the personal touch. We truly care about every client who walks through our doors. The team here is incredibly skilled, and the atmosphere at NOA Spa is warm and welcoming, which makes for a unique experience where guests feel genuinely cared for. What’s one piece of wellness advice you love to share with clients? Consistency is key. Whether it’s in exercise, relaxation, or self-care, small, consistent actions can make a huge difference in how you feel both mentally and physically over time.
