Our Community Impact Director of NYC, Zeyna Flutie, has secured a spot to run in the nation’s largest marathon – the TCS NYC Marathon - on behalf of the American Heart Association's Heart & Stroke Team! Here is what she has to say as she prepares for her first marathon: “Being part of #TheAHALife consistently humbles me, reminding me that life is a gift and experiencing the power of human connection is a treasure. Ultimately, I am reminded to show up every day and choose to be a part of something bigger than myself. My motivation to run my first marathon is a testament to that commitment, in honor of a beautiful soul who tragically passed earlier this year after experiencing cardiac arrest.
