We all know how demanding the workplace can be. From constant meetings and heavy workloads to the struggle of actually stepping away from our desks, finding time to look after our health often feels impossible. 📝 Here is what many employees tell me: “Its too busy to step away from my desk to take breaks...” “Work is too busy. It’s hard to find time for health and well-being.” “Meetings at lunchtime make it challenging.” 🚨 But here’s the thing—breaks aren’t just optional; they’re ESSENTIAL. Regular breaks reduce stress, improve focus, and boost productivity. When we step away, even briefly, we reset, recharge, and come back stronger. 📈 Breaks Reduce stress Better focus Increased productivity. To create a healthier balance, set boundaries. Make time for short breaks, especially in between tasks. Block off lunch breaks on your calendar, and communicate your break needs to your team. These small changes add up. Remember, looking after yourself isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. Step away Take those breaks Allow yourself the mental space to stay well and balanced #workplace wellbeing #mentalhealth #stress #work #health4ucork #nurse #nutritionalprctitioner #hr #workplacewellbeing #healthpromotion

Let’s dive into how hormonal changes impact your glucose levels and overall health! ✔️During perimenopause, hormone levels, especially estrogen and progesterone, fluctuate. ✔️These hormones play a key role in regulating insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism. ✔️As they shift, your body may struggle to manage blood sugar effectively, leading to increased cravings, fatigue, irritability, and weight gain. The result? ✔️Blood sugar spikes and crashes can wreak havoc on mood, energy, and metabolism. What can you do? Monitoring glucose levels, adopting a balanced diet, and managing stress are crucial steps to maintain hormone and blood sugar balance. 💚As a women’s health and nutrition expert, I help you navigate these changes and create personalized strategies that work with your unique body. Tips for Workplace Wellbeing 👩💻 Are you feeling overworked, overwhelmed, or like you can’t switch off from tasks? You’re not alone. Here are some tips to regain control, balance, and structure in your workday: 1️⃣ Set Clear Boundaries: Define when your workday starts and ends. Physically stepping away helps your brain disengage. 2️⃣ Take Breaks: Schedule regular breaks—even 5 minutes every hour boosts focus. Set reminders to stop. 3️⃣ Prioritize Tasks: Focus on the top 3 things that must get done today. Don’t overwhelm yourself with too many tasks at once. 4️⃣ Block Time: Create structure by blocking out chunks of time for specific tasks and downtime. This makes sure nothing overlaps, and you know when it’s time to pause. 5️⃣ Communicate: Don’t be afraid to let your team know when you’re at capacity. It’s better to deliver quality work than stretch yourself too thin. ✨Remember: Your wellbeing matters as much as your work. Without balance, productivity suffers. Prioritize you to perform at your best. #WorkplaceWellbeing #WorkLifeBalance #ProfessionalHealth #BoundariesMatter #health4ucork #cork #glanmire #nurse #nutritionalpractitioner #health #hr
