Atlantic Technological University (ATU) and South East Technological University (SETU) have been named as Ireland’s two new Veterinary Medicine Colleges following an in-depth assessment by the Higher Education Authority. HEA CEO Dr Alan Wall ACMA CGMA said: “Ireland currently has one of the leading veterinary schools in the world, and the excellent education and research on offer at UCD’s School of Veterinary Medicine will be complimented by new programmes at ATU and SETU offering a diversity of approach to the delivery of Veterinary Medicine education.” For more info, see: https://bit.ly/3XPHPRX

The Higher Education Authority’s National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education has announced the appointment of four new Teaching and Learning Policy Advisors. These secondments, lasting 18 months, will focus on advancing key areas of policy development that are central to enhancing teaching and learning practices across higher education institutions.
