We were delighted to host a delegation from The Kansai Economic Federation (Kankeiren) at our global HQ today. Kankeiren is the largest business organisation representing the Kansai region of #Japan, including Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe. The purpose of the delegation’s visit to #Ireland is to deepen their understanding of Ireland’s DX/Innovation ecosystem, the dynamic R&D environment supported by collaboration between government, business, and academia, and how research is brought through to commercialisation. IDA Ireland has operated in the Japanese market for over 50 years and Japan now plays an important part in Ireland’s FDI story. Currently there are 42 IDA supported Japanese clients with 55 operations in Ireland and collectively these clients directly employ around 8,000 people. #InvestInIreland #InvestInExtraordinary
