Best wishes to our Toolroom Manager Noel McBride and his CLG An Clochan Liath (Dungloe) teammates this weekend in the Donegal GAA Senior County Championship Football final 🏆 🏐 It is 60 years since Dungloe last contested a Senior County Final and at the start of this season very few would have tipped them to reach a final. An amazing achievement for the team to get to this point as Noel reaps the rewards for the years of hard work in his beloved red and white of Dungloe 🟥 ⬜ Enjoy the weekend and the final Noel and all the best from your colleagues at Irish Pressings

🚙🏆✔️JLRQ Award for Irish Pressings ✔️🏆🚙 The sound of metal pressing temporarily paused at Irish Pressings on Wednesday 11th September as the Company hosted senior representatives from JLR who were visiting the Údarás na Gaeltachta Business Park to award Irish Pressings with a prestigious JLRQ Award. JLRQ is an award presented to high-performing suppliers like Irish Pressings and recognises an exceptional level of quality in manufacturing and delivery of metal stampings and assemblies. Having first become an approved supplier to JLR in 2019, Irish Pressings has continually proved itself to be a high-performing supplier to the company that produces iconic vehicles such as the Range Rover and Land Rover Defender. Representing JLR at the event were Ms Jennifer Neary (STA BIW Senior Manager at JLR), Mr Matt Newman (STA NML Manager – BIW at JLR), Mr Brian Halpin (STA Engineer – BIW at JLR), Mr Jim Harper (Press Tooling Technical Manager at JLR), and Ms Niki Deeley-Barnard (Off Cycle Senior Buyer at JLR). Irish Pressings was also delighted to have Cathal Ó’Gallachoir in attendance representing Údarás na Gaeltachta who have been an integral part of the company’s success since formation in 2005. The ceremony took place at Irish Pressings new flagship facility at Unit 27 on the Gweedore Business Park with all staff assembled to receive this company-wide recognition. Ms Jennifer Neary and Mr Matt Newman spoke at the event on behalf of JLR and reiterated their delight at being in a position to come to Donegal to present the award. This was followed by the formal presentation of the JLRQ Award which was jointly accepted by Mr Declan Ward (Managing Director of Irish Pressings) and Ms Eimear Boyle (Quality Manager at Irish Pressings) who led the Organisation to achievement of this award. Speaking at the event, Managing Director Mr Declan Ward spoke of his immense pride in receiving the award. “Today is just another milestone on the Irish Pressings journey”, Mr Ward told those in attendance. Mr Ward then paid tribute to the team at Irish Pressings by saying that “Almost 20 years ago we started Irish Pressings with a vision and over time as the milestones have been met that vision has kept evolving and developing further. But all I do is set the vision out, it is all of you (the staff) who then make it happen. So thank you for driving us forward and playing your part in achieving this award”. This award is the latest in a long line of achievements for Irish Pressings who - with the addition of 120,000 sq-ft in manufacturing capacity at the new facility at Unit 27 - are in the process of expanding their service range beyond automotive into sectors such as Electrical Switchgear, Yellow Goods (Construction) and the electrification of off-road vehicles. A busy 2025 awaits 🤞 💪 💹 #jlrq #accreditation #award #manufacturingexcellence #trustedsupplier #partnership #futuregrowth #automotive #oem #tier1 #metalstamping

Irish Pressings is a proud client of Údarás na Gaeltachta - the regional authority responsible for the economic, social and cultural development of the Gaeltacht (Irish language speaking area). This week we were delighted to host a delegation of Údarás employees to our manufacturing facilities in Gweedore Business Park. During the tour the group - Cathal O'Gallachoir, Páid O Neachtian, Máire Éinniú, Miriam Ní Néill (O' Neill), Noreen Breathnach and Mícheál Ó Duibhir - walked through our processes from concept development, through design, tool design, machining, toolmaking, metal stamping, welding, assembly, quality and logistics. It is always a pleasure to host groups such as this to share knowledge and experience - go raibh maith agaibh go léir 😃

Anyone who knows Irish Pressings will know that we are very proud of where we are from. #Donegal is a special place - wild, unique and beautiful yet its' people have skills and a fortitude that makes it a world-leading location to do business. This capture by Rory O'Donnell (Ranafast) from last week is a beautiful reminder of how fortunate we are to live and work where we do (For anyone who hasn't been here yet, we are located between the camera and the mountain!) #donegal #irishpressings #investdonegal #gatewaytotheworld
Donegal’s beauty speaks for itself. This video of the moon rising over Mount Errigal is just a glimpse of what makes this place so special. From rugged coastlines to peaceful landscapes, Donegal is truly stunning. 🌙🏔️ #Donegal #MountErrigal #NaturalBeauty #Ireland Video credit: Rory O'Donnell
