We recently took a bold step towards sustainability by launching a new food waste reduction initiative in partnership with Positive Carbon. Positive Carbon tackles food waste at the source, using an advanced food waste monitoring system with cutting-edge sensors that track and analyse every item discarded. This information empowers Levy Ireland teams to identify waste sources and implement targeted reduction strategies. Food waste reduction plays a significant role in Levy Ireland’s Climate Action Plan, and the Positive Carbon collaboration will help to capture accurate data and valuable insights to target reductions. The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) will be the first Levy Ireland partner site to embark on its Positive Carbon food waste reduction journey. With its busy portfolio of events and conferences and a commitment to sustainable practices, setting objectives and targets to ensure continual improvement, The CCD was the perfect choice to launch the Positive Carbon food waste programme. Together, we are making strides towards a more sustainable and waste-free world, and we thank Positive Carbon for being part of this impactful journey!
