💡  Last week, during Patient Safety Awareness Week, we shared the results of a poll where 45% of you said creating action plans is the biggest challenge in patient safety. Now, we want to dig a little deeper.

Last week, MEG founder and CEO Kerrill Thornhill joined Enterprise Ireland USA, along with 15 other Irish #HealthTech companies, on an insightful tour of the US MidWest and attended the AIMS Summit in Chicago. Key highlights from the visit included:  🎤 Speaking at the AIMS Summit at Northwestern Medicine about MEG's commitment to making life easier for healthcare workers and safer for patients in 22 countries worldwide. 🏥 Engaging with leading healthcare professionals at Parkview Health in Indiana and Northwestern Medicine and Rush University System for Health in Illinois. 💭 Valuable interactions and discussions with healthcare leaders including Ethel Massing, MSHI, SHIMSS, Paul Casey, Kali Arduini Ihde, and their respective teams. 🤝 Meeting the newly appointed Irish Minister for Health, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD. Special thanks to Peter Naughton, Heron Rodriguez, and everyone involved at Northwestern Medicine for hosting a fantastic AIMS Summit. The experience provided critical insights into market opportunities and strengthened our strategic connections in the US healthcare sector. It was a huge honour to join Enterprise Irelands US Lifesciences team with 15 amazing Irish HealthTech companies on a tour of the US MidWest, and attend the AIMS Summit in Chicago last week. Claire Walsh PhD We're lucky in Ireland to have an agency which provides the opportunity to engage with great US healthcare systems: Parkview Health in Indiana, Rush University System for Health and Northwestern Medicine in Illinois; and an opportunity to engage with and learn from top class clinicians/ healthcare professionals like Ethel Massing, MSHI, SHIMSS, Paul Casey, Kali Arduini Ihde and their teams. Like most Irish companies, expanding our businesses to the US is a top priority and the connections made on these trips are critical for our success. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to speak at the AIMS Summitt about the work we're doing at MEG | Healthcare Quality Management Software in helping healthcare organisations across 22 countries make life easier for healthcare workers and safer for patients. But the highlight of these weeks for me is always the opportunity to hangout with, learn from, be entertained & inspired by my fellow founders and leaders on this journey.
