Michael Slattery Associates is Ireland's largest fire safety engineering practice, with offices in Dublin and Donegal
The practice was established by Michael Slattery in 1988 and provides consultancy services embracing all levels of fire safety engineering and safety.
We are pleased to share footage of the impressive seven-storey Block N1, which was recently completed. Situated at the foothills of the Dublin mountains, the building adds 19,270 sq. m of Grade A office accommodation to the Central Park campus in Leopardstown. The state-of-the-art building has achieved LEED Gold, BER A3, and NZEB compliance.
Key features of the new development include a triple-storey glazed entrance complemented by travertine stone floor and wall finishes, an aesthetic unitised curtain walling system façade with striking external feature framework and vertical fins, fully glazed feature stairs and panoramic lifts, architectural concrete finish to in-situ and precast stairs, and state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical fit out.
The double basement area provides 190 basement car parking spaces, 20 EV spaces and 120 bicycle spaces, aligning with a commitment to sustainable transport. The project also incorporates extensive site infrastructure works, including internal roads, cycle paths, ESB substations, plant rooms, comprehensive civil drainage works, and hard and soft landscaping over the podium slab.

We are thrilled that the Glass Bottle consortium have been granted planning permission by Dublin City Council for an additional 502 residential apartments across five separate blocks at Sandymount Strand in Dublin 4. Designed by Reddy A+U, Phase 2 will feature a mix of social, affordable, and privately owned units, including residential amenities.
This development is part of the larger Poolbeg West Strategic Development Zone, aiming to transform the former industrial area into a vibrant urban neighbourhood which will offer community spaces, an innovation hub, a hotel, a school and creche, retail space, artists' studios, parks and leisure facilities, all with direct access to the coastal path and Dublin Bay.
