Post-storm scaffolding safety 🌧️🚨 After heavy rain, strong winds or stormy weather conditions, it is crucial to inspect all scaffolding thoroughly before use. Ensure that ties, boards, sheeting, and access points are secure and in good condition. Only a certified inspector should carry out the check and remember to sign and date the GA3 Form for every inspection. Following the Code of Practice for Access and Working Platforms ensures safety for everyone on site. That's a wrap on #SURGE 2024. Delivered in partnership with GP JOULE, SURGE looked at the #renewableindustry through a different lens, a self-reflecting lens, provoking thought amongst the energy community and encouraging them to think differently from the past, to think differently about how we evolve and transform to meet the economic and societal needs to achieve net zero by 2050. It was a pleasure to have Ireland's leading economist, David McWilliams, open the event with a captivating session on the importance of non-conventional thinking in times of change and to hear updates on the trends, challenges, and progress being made across the energy sector in Ireland and beyond from our incredible speakers (pictured below), Benjamin Henecka -NALA Energy, Kevin O Donovan -Statkraft, Brian Keville - MKO, Gordon D'Arcy - Lockton, Jeremy Poots, and Paul Martin - Mammoth. We thank you for your involvement. Let's #SURGE ahead.
