What an incredible day we had yesterday at the gradireland Graduate Career Fair at the RDS Simmonscourt. We had great intentions of posting updates throughout the day and then the doors opened to students and it was non-stop conversations throughout the day! It was amazing to talk to so many students and big shout out to Niamh Mulholland, Jennifer Galvin, Sarah Synnott and Edward O'Flynn for sharing their experience and advice on Musgrave with everyone who visited the stand. Siobháin Scanlon, our Early Careers Manager, shared her advice on how to stand out in recruitment process as part of a panel discussion on the main stage and all of our advice is also available on our website https://lnkd.in/ez4ypbZe Register your interest on our website now and we will notify you when the application window opens so you can apply for our 2025 Graduate opportunities. #musgrave #bringyourgood #graduatecareers #jobs

What a day! On Monday, June 17th, we were thrilled to recognise exceptional talent and innovation during our annual Early Careers Summit. This landmark event showcased the achievements of early career professionals across various roles, including the Musgrave Graduate Programme and Intern programme, members of our youth board GenRep as well as graduates joining the business this Autumn. Here are the highlights: 🏆 Awards and Winners: • Graduate of the Year: Mary Nealon (Retail Operations Graduate) • Best Business Impact: Seán Cassidy (Supply Chain Team Leader) • Best Team Impact: Sam Kane (Data Scientist) • Rising Star: Kate McCarthy (Product Manager) • Early Careers Manager of the Year: Jamie Caffrey (Store Manager, SuperValu Blanchardstown) 🌟 Nurturing Talent: The Early Careers Summit reflects Musgrave’s commitment to fostering early career talent. Presentations from four project teams, part of the Musgrave Graduate Programme, highlighted their research projects and recommendations to senior leaders. Each project received mentorship from an executive team member. 🔍 Learning and Networking: this was about creating meaningful moments for colleagues and having an opportunity to explore diverse careers within Musgrave, connect with peers and senior leaders, and discover development pathways. 🌐 Looking Ahead: The Early Careers Summit is a milestone event in our early career calendar. We’ll continue evolving this engaging and interactive event for early career professionals across the business. Interested in joining? The Musgrave 2025 Graduate Programme opens in September 2024—register your interest at https://lnkd.in/ez4ypbZe . 🚀

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome some of our incoming 2024 graduate cohort to our Cork office this week for an informal meet & greet before they join us later this summer. We had a very relaxed Q&A session and some of our current graduate colleagues gave them a tour of the offices while sharing their experiences on the Programme. We know it can be a bit daunting joining a new company and it was a great opportunity to talk about some of the practicalities of the onboarding process and the development opportunities ahead. We'll have our full cohort together for another introductory briefing before the Programme starts. In the meantime, we hope everyone enjoys their summer! #MusgraveEarlyCareers #Musgrave #BringYourGood #EarlyCareers #Graduates

What a night! We were absolutely delighted to win the gradireland award for "Best graduate training and development programme - Business/Management" last night. Always a very competitive category, we were thrilled to win this award as it recognises the work and contributions of our graduates, their managers and all involved in the development of our early careers talent, be it formal or informal. It was a brilliant night in the company Mary Nealon, our fantastic representative in the Graduate of the Year category, Mairead O Sullivan, Rebecca Coonan, Caleb Powell, Joao Diniz, Kelita McCarter, Eileen Hughes and Kim Cahill. Congratulations to all the award winners and nominees! #Musgrave #Winner #BringYourGood #Awards #gradawards24 #earlycareers

Wishing our colleague Mary Nealon the very best of luck at the gradireland Graduate Recruitment Awards tomorrow night! Mary has been shortlisted for the award of Graduate Employee of the Year and has been a fantastic colleague on the Musgrave Graduate Programme since joining us in September 2023. She has added greatly to the team performance in SuperValu Blanchardstown in her first rotation and we're looking forward to celebrating her achievements with the team tomorrow. Whatever the outcome, she's a winner in our books 🌟 We'll also have our fingers crossed for the other categories where we have been shortlisted 🤞 ☘ Best of luck to all nominees across all categories tomorrow! #BringYourGood #MusgraveGrads #gradireland #gradawards #EarlyCareers

As an industry partner to the BA (Hons) Economics (through Transformational Learning) in University College Cork, we were delighted to hear the insights from the team working on a case study for Musgrave. Well done to Liam McNamara, Ryan Fitzgerald, William Pastorino and RICCARDO VACIRCA on an excellent presentation and for sharing their research, and experience, on the topic of optimising the Gen Z experience through reflective learning. Congratulations to all who completed their industry case studies in an intensive time period and to Daniel Blackshields and Mary McCarthy for their leadership in embedding reflective learning in the academic context.

We are over the moon to have been shortlisted for 5 categories in the 2024 gradireland Graduate Recruitment Awards! We'll be cheering on Mary Nealon who is representing Musgrave in the category of Graduate Employee of the Year on the 25th April at the Mansion House. It's always a thrill to have our programmes recognised with a shortlisting at these awards and it's a reflection of the work of our graduates, interns and their managers. Thanks to all involved in our programmes and well done to all the employers shortlisted for these awards. Fingers crossed 🤞 🤞 🤞 ☺ #Musgrave #gradireland #gradawards #graduatedevelopment
