A Heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in person and virtually for the Crochet Hearts Remembrance Ceremony at Nano Nagle Place on Friday 1st November ❤ Your presence and support made it a truly memorable day for all involved. It was so special to gather together as a community, to remember and honour our loved ones. There is still an opportunity to contribute to this beautiful campaign for the month of November, by donating for a heart(s) and sending the name and special memory for your loved one, which will be added to our In Memoriam Page; https://lnkd.in/ePpZrJY4 Each heart will be blessed by our Resident Presentation Sisters, and lovingly placed with the other hearts on our remembrance tree. Three days ago, our CEO John Smith had the privelege of speaking at the opening ceremony of The Lantern Project's latest exhibition, Dreaming the Light, at The Glucksman. The compelling display brings together remarkable work by participants whose art explores the power of imagination with hand-made and hand-decorated vessels. We would like to extend special thanks to Cllr Dan Boyle in joining us for the inauguration, Eleanor Moore with Health Service Executive for her unwavering support, funding partners Cork/Kerry Mental Health Services and The National Lottery, Fiona Tadhg and everyone at The Glucksman for their warm welcome and enthusiasm about this project, our incredible tutors Spark Deely and Olywn Grant, Ger O'Sullivan and Christine B Phelan for their musical accompaniment, and, of course, the talented participants who have made this exhibition possible. We encourage everyone to experience Dreaming the Light for themselves through 6th October. #DreamingTheLight
