In a world full of faceless chatbots, and automated interaction, empathy and emotional intelligence are taking a back seat. This is quite the opposite with NDRC Pre-Accelerator alumna Marie Toft, founder of Cork-based Emotionise ai. Operating out of Crosshaven, and with teams in London and Sri Lanka, Toft is using the power of AI to put the human back into employee communications. With €600,000 investment already in the startup, Emotionise is looking to close a €400,000 funding round by year-end. A platform built for coders, Clonmel-based AI startup Zerve AI (NDRC PreX '21) today announces a $7.6M raise, led by US VC firm Paladin Capital Group with Elkstone contributing. The Irish VC is doubling down on Zerve, following its pre-seed investment of $3.8 million last year. By slashing cycle times by up to 9x, it's no wonder data teams from Fortune 500 companies and tech startups are eager to get their hands on it.
