As the month of October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we were delighted to support the Marie Keating Foundation’s recent Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar. The theme for this year’s seminar was, “Live your Best, Prepare for the Rest”, with the objective of supporting women who are living with advanced breast cancer, and assisting them to navigate their respective journeys, and enable them to give voice to any concerns they may have. This Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar adds to the tremendous work that the Marie Keating Foundation have been doing in raising awareness for Breast Cancer, and the education and support that seminars like these provide to people living with breast cancer and their families. 🔍 Spotlight on Patient Safety 🔍 - Today, we shine a light on the importance of patient safety. Reporting adverse events (side effects in a medicine) isn’t just a formality – each report is an important learning opportunity that helps us protect future patients. Do you know what happens when an adverse event is reported at Novartis? The 2024 theme for World Patient Safety Day, “Improving diagnosis for patient safety,” reminds us of the critical role of accurate and timely diagnosis. Remember: every adverse event in a medicine, reported is a step towards safer healthcare. Let’s continue to make patient safety a priority! #WPSD #WHO #NovartisirelandInspires
