About us
The N-TUTORR programme will engage and empower learners from across society to develop skills, knowledge, and sustainability competencies through an inclusive digitally supported open access infrastructure which transforms learning and teaching across the sector. NTUTORR will also ensure that our educators themselves develop the skills needed to work effectively in a transformed teaching and learning environment. They will enable the technological sector to meet and address regional and national needs for digitisation, to cater for 21st-century learning and research, and to ensure that new Technological sector is sufficiently equipped to deliver the returns on the national strategic policy for Higher Education.

We are excited to support the creation of the National Digital Leadership Network, chaired by Dr. Gearóid Ó Súilleabháin, and with Dr. Trevor Prendergast as co-chair. The first activity of the network is an open call for proposals for the completion of a set of key strategic "horizon scanning" reports. Details are in the document below, and the deadline for proposals is 3rd October. #TransformingLearning #NextGenerationEU
The N-TUTORR programme is proud to announce the creation of the National Digital Leadership Network (NDLN). This network will offer a collaborative platform for Ireland’s Technological University sector to address current trends and challenges in higher education, fostering the sharing of resources, strategies, and innovations. As a centre of expertise, the NDLN will draw on both internal and external expertise to provide insights and guidance on digital transformation across teaching, research, and administration functions and processes. The network is now inviting members of the digital education and education research community to submit proposals for the completion of a number of key strategic “horizon-scanning” reports. These reports should provide senior higher education leaders with guidance on specific themes and, as part of same, provide direction on how each particular theme might align to institutional and national strategic priorities. The resulting strategic reports will collectively help the network to foster digital leadership capacity in the technological university sector and to ultimately shape higher education institution policy, strategy and practice. A maximum of 12 reports will be funded by the network. The number of proposals accepted will be based on the quality of submission, and to ensure the widest coverage of themes across the network. Each applicant will be required to develop one report only based on one, or within one, of the network's selected strategic themes. The amount offered per report is expected to be a max of €10,000, depending on the scale of the proposed work. Submissions from both individual researchers and teams will be considered. Submissions welcome from Ireland, UK, EU and internationally. The deadline for the submission of proposals is October 3rd. Further details about the network's identified themes, expected outcomes and proposal formats in the attached.
