Have you heard about the new Easy Wire Organiser (EWO) from our partners at Cembre Group ? Its the next-generation of cable entry systems that won't leave you tied up in knotts. It is important to be able to wire through-cables quickly and safely on any surface, such as switchboards, panels and on machines. The Plug&Fix system of EWO products makes it possible to install the demountable cable entry system frame even after the conductors have been laid and when there are predetermined cables. Thanks to the Plug&Fix system, the IP66 grommets can be easily inserted into the frame at any time, even at the final stage of wiring. Just one way you can keep making the right connections 🙌 #cabling #electricalengineering #panelbuilding

Panel builders – have you been saving costs on terminal blocks in your control voltage distribution systems? Did you know this can lead to the creation of non-transparent installations, resulting in faulty wiring and may limit the potential for future retrofits and upgrades? Luckily, Weidmuller UK have a solution that allows users to create structured control voltage distribution including overload protection. Choose between the customised Klippon® Connect AAP potential distribution terminal blocks and the modular maxGUARD concept with integrated electronic load monitoring. What both solutions have in common is that while until now, terminal blocks for potential distribution and electronic load monitoring were installed separately, AAP and maxGUARD integrate these necessary functions into one complete control voltage distribution: 240 V or 400 V when deploying Klippon® Connect AAP and 24 V with maxGUARD. These two powerhouses combine to save you time during installation, increases fail safety and reduces the amount of space required on the terminal rail by up to 50%. The choice between AAP and maxGUARD depends on the desired level of fusing. If with a simple system concept where there is no need to implement any surge current protection measures, you can design a compact potential distribution without any fusing, with AAP. If the need arises, you can add fusing of your choice separately, at a later stage. Alternatively, if you want to play it safe from the beginning and take advantage of the benefits of an integrated solution, APP including fusing is your best bet. *It should be remembered however, that once the safety fuse has been triggered, it is no longer usable and must be replaced immediately. * If the downtime that this will cause is too much of a risk, then you should use maxGUARD, the potential distribution solution with re-switchable electronic fusing. maxGUARD triggers extremely quickly in around 10 milliseconds and can be reactivated in no time. Thanks to these properties, this solution is recommended for the fusing of sensitive electronic consumers such as controller components or remote I/O components that suffer loss of function or perform an unwanted restart, with even the shortest interruption of the supply voltage. Even a protected system is down for a short time but returns to operation far more quickly than a non-fused system. In addition, taking appropriate protective measures prevents the destruction of expensive components. On your next project, ask yourself this: How important is it to protect my / my customers investment? And what level of fusing do I need to have? Whatever the answer, with Klippon® Connect AAP and maxGUARD, Weidmüller offers module-based solutions for load monitoring and potential distribution that can be adapted to meet all needs, covering individual components, defined basic sub-assemblies and complete control voltage distribution. #panelbuilding #terminalblocks

If you're looking to make the most of your industrial data and are building high-bandwidth network infrastructures, you will want to maximise network uptime. But how can you level up the resilience of your high-bandwidth networks? 🤔 Moxa's EDS-4000/G4000 Series Layer 2 switches may hold the key. Not only do they feature 2.5GbE uplink options that work perfectly to build high-bandwidth networks with the MRX-Q4064/G4064 Series Layer 3 switches ... They also support the multitude of industrial protocols, boast network security features, and leverage network redundancy technologies, such as Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain & RSTP/STP required to streamline multi-system integrations with secure and reliable connectivity. But the tip of the iceberg is the EDS-4000/G4000 Series now supports the MX-NOS firmware version 4.0 And this is how you future-proof your network infrastructures ✅ MX-NOS Version 4.0 enables expandability, allowing for the addition of new functions and features, such as cutting-edge security, diagnostics and usability enhancements, throughout your device's lifetime. The word 'game-changer' gets thrown around a lot within our industry, but the EDS-4000/G4000 Series is certainly worthy of this title. #networkengineer #industrialcybersecurity #industrialethernet

Switch to compact brilliance 🤏 The new range of contactors from our partners at Lovato Electric are mini marvels. Since size is mattering more and more in control panel engineering, the 3-pole BF265, BF330 & BF400 contactors are breaking the size barrier as they are just 140mm wide. The new contactors have an electronically controlled AC/DC coil for greatly reduced consumption and a wide nominal voltage range (e.g. just one coil for 100…250V AC/DC), which ensures operation without uncertainness, even under strongly varying supply voltage conditions. The low profile front-mounted auxiliary contacts enable quick and easy wiring. Up to 6 contacts can be mounted on the 3-pole contactors, and up to 8 on the 4-pole contactors. In addition, up to 8 contacts can be mounted on the side faces. A horizontal mechanical interlock mounts flush between the two contactors without increasing the assembly’s overall dimensions. The interlock is also available in a vertical version.
