    Happy Imbolc or St. Brigid's day - Pagan or Christian we were all happy to have yesterday's bank holiday. This celebration of Spring has been part of our heritage long before we were crafting crosses under teacher's supervision.     As someone who works on a lot of social media influencer campaigns at pluto, the latest Modash newsletter offered some insightful considerations for 2025! #1: Focus beyond follower count. It's easy to get mesmerised by big numbers, but try to be strategic. Consider engagement, comment quality, audience demographics, and business goals. Both mega-influencers and micro-influencers have their own unique strengths. #2: Build genuine relationships. Creators aren't just content machines. Understand their vision and treat them like a partner in your campaign. #3: Know the difference between influencers and creators. Creators produce content; influencers drive purchasing decisions. Both are crucial for a well-rounded brand strategy. #4: Trust your instincts. Numbers are important, but don't forget to listen to your gut and build authentic relationships. #5: Don’t ignore your mental health. Set boundaries for your social media use and stick to them. Schedule your "research" time to avoid the never ending scroll. Your mental health will thank you!

    As we kick off the new year in pluto, we took some time to review the past year and all the challenges, learnings and impactful work it has brought us! At #plutolive, we started the year collaborating on one of the biggest events of the year. With a quick turnaround time and many, many, many people involved, this was our proud showcase for 2024 and from there, it continued. Following this, the year was then sprinkled with smaller meetings, kick offs, exhibitions, festive gatherings along with a few conferences thrown in for good measure. It was certainly a year that showcased our versatility and agility! The festive season allowed us to work on some lovely end of year celebrations not only in Ireland but throughout Europe 🌍 Looking back, overall, it was a great year, but what we had expected for 2024 was very different and so we needed to work harder and faster to produce each campaign and project which challenged us overall. Luckily, we got the opportunity to take a nice long break over the festive season which allowed us to reset for the year ahead. After such a year, I am ready for the challenges and opportunities 2025 will have in store for us, but to make the most of it, let’s manifest on what we want more of to produce impactful events for our clients for the year ahead: 📆 Time ahead to plan   🧠 Challenges that support growth  🤝 Cross-functional collaborations  💻 AI tools to help us work with more efficiency and develop our creativity  ✨ Wellness at events  ♻️ Sustainability

    Love seeing our work for The Heritage Council in "the wild". Apart from being a phenomenal client they do trojan work all year round, in fields you couldn't imagine, they contribute so much vital work in preserving and creating this island's culture and assist groups and individuals nationwide in their heritage endevours. Everytime we pick up the phone we know we've something interesting is ahead of us and at least one person will say "you learn something new every day".

    A lot of people I've spoken to lately have said how they're enjoying getting in the festive spirit a little earlier than usual this year. Last Thursday, Sharon Yourell Lawlor and Flick Collingwood 📈 sprung me right into the Christmas mood with their wonderful and inspirational Shopper Safari in London. There was talking, discovering, eating, and lots of twinkly lights as we explored the latest and greatest this buzzing city has to offer in terms of consumer experience. The bar is constantly being raised in terms of elevated experiences and being out amongst it all is by far the best way to know where your clients or brand should be. I'm so excited for all the possibilities we can do with our clients in pluto in 2025.
