After over 2 years on site, the internal works are moving towards 2nd fix and fit-out stage and the external works are on schedule despite the recent weather. We acknowledge the great teamwork and collaboration with the Client and their Construction Management Team. This significant movement brought our team together, emphasising the importance of mental health and showcasing our dedication to creating a supportive work environment, launching resources and materials to aid the movement. Today marks a significant milestone for Robert Quinn Ltd. as we proudly unveil a cherished addition to our corporate family - Cara the Elephant! In collaboration with Brent Pope and Elephant in the Room, we are delighted to assume the role of guardians for Cara (meaning friend), a captivating elephant sculpture representing a pivotal mental health initiative in Ireland.   The warm reception extended to Brent at the Robert Quinn Ltd headquarter’s in Carlow, and the symbolic unveiling of Cara marked a gratifying moment in our commitment to mental health awareness.   Brent Pope, a prominent mental health advocate and former rugby player, has been a formidable force in dispelling the stigma surrounding mental health. We express profound gratitude for the privilege of collaborating with him on this meaningful endeavour.   Our decision to align with this movement is an organic extension of our dedication to mental health awareness within the construction industry. We have consistently championed the creation of a supportive and nurturing environment for our employees, both on and off construction sites, with a keen understanding of the importance of mental well-being.   Taking a pioneering step, we are proud to be the first construction company in Ireland actively promoting mental health initiatives through the Elephant in the Room movement.   In addition to our collaboration with Brent and Cara, we are pleased to announce a strategic partnership with the local branch of the Samaritans. Together, we will implement a comprehensive series of workshops, internal communication campaigns, and initiatives aimed at supporting and educating our teams on mental health.   Our goal is to not only enhance the well-being of our immediate team, but also to contribute to a broader discourse on mental health within the construction industry in Ireland.   Through awareness campaigns, educational initiatives, and the cultivation of a supportive environment, we are confident in making a positive impact on the mental health of our employees and their families.   Our mission is to underscore that mental health is a topic deserving of attention, understanding, and compassion.   Embarking on this journey, we are committed to transparently sharing our progress and insights with peers in the industry. Congratulations to our magnificent site team for their collective effort and commitment to excellence. We are fortunate to have such dedicated and committed staff throughout the company and we are thankful for all we have built together in 2023.

We are very proud to announce the successful completion of the new Logistics Office located in the Curragh Camp, Co. Kildare on behalf of the Department of Defence. The building was constructed to NZEB standards (Nearly Zero Energy Building) and the building achieved an air permeability of 1.99 (m3/hr) /m2 @50 Pa building pressure which exceeded the project requirements. This facility demonstrates our expertise in fast-track projects and sustainable construction on behalf of our valued client. The project was completed safely in 22 weeks ahead of schedule and on budget with zero defects at practical completion which is our target on every project.
