  • Who saw the fantastic job Timmie and Siobhán did on Butlerstown Post Office on The Great House Revival last Sunday night ? It was a fantastic show and a real testament of the hard work Timmie and Siobhán have put into the restoration of the building. If you were like us, you were keeping an eye out for any Roundtower branded material and our eyes lit up around half way through when Timmie was applying Roundtower Board Render to Steico Therm insulation boards. We were absolutely delighted to supply the following products to the project: * Roundtower Insulating Plaster * Roundtower Board Render * Steico Therm internal wall insulation * Many other lime mortars and associated products. A big thanks to Timmie and Siobhán for all their support.

  • 🚀 Roundtower SuperTherm – The Future of Insulating Lime Plaster! 🏡✨ We’re redefining insulation with Roundtower SuperTherm, our groundbreaking insulating lime plaster that offers unmatched performance for heritage and conservation projects. Here's why it's a game-changer: 🔥 Incredible Thermal Performance ✔️ K-value of 0.039 – 3x more efficient than Roundtower Insulating Plaster ! ✔️ At just 250 kg/m³, SuperTherm is incredibly lightweight. A lighter plaster means better thermal performance. 💧 Superior Moisture Control ✔️ Boasting a μ value of 4.2, SuperTherm is 70% more vapour permeable than standard NHL plasters. ✔️ Absorbs & regulates moisture to prevent condensation issues. 🏗️ Advanced Composition ✔️ No NHL – Uses hydrated lime & natural pozzolan for a lighter, stronger, and more insulative plaster. ✔️ Ultra-lightweight aggregate with a nano-pore structure to block heat transfer. 🌱 Eco-Friendly & Conservation Approved ✔️ Roundtower SuperTherm absorbs around 39% of its weight as CO₂ – leading the way in sustainable materials. ✔️ Ideal for traditional buildings, listed properties, and modern energy-efficient projects. #RoundtowerSuperTherm #InsulatingLimePlaster #HeritageConservation #EcoBuilding #BreathableInsulation #SustainableRenovation #LimePlaster

  • Julian Benson’s Tranquility House project is a truly personal endeavor, driven by his own experience with cystic fibrosis and his dedication to helping others facing similar challenges. Last Sunday’s episode of Room to Improve with Dermot Bannon showcased the remarkable restoration of Tranquility House, bringing Julian’s vision to life. Roundtower was thrilled to contribute to this inspiring project by supplying lime mortars and plasters.
