Erin Schmuker, MD of Optum Ireland and UK, spoke to us about the healthcare company's presence in Ireland and the roles it’s looking to fill. “We are focused specifically on technology and analytics. We know that the pharmacy is the most utilised touchpoint in healthcare in the US, so individuals with a background in pharma or knowledge of the pharmacy landscape would be of high interest for us,” she says. “We’re also looking for skills that are applicable across all lines of business, which would include data analytics, data science and data engineering.” Click the link below to read more. #Careers #Jobs #Data #Analytics #Automation #Optum #Dublin #Donegal https://ow.ly/7Q6w50TEs2t

Jenny Fitzgerald, chief experience officer at Deciphex, spoke to us about how the company’s platform can provide support to understaffed pathology departments. “If you think of low- or middle-income countries, who, in the middle of nowhere, would not have access to, say, a head and neck specialist, whereas we have all of these at the touch of a button, at the end of a computer, and we’re able to give complex analysis and consultations on these cases.” Click the link below to read more.
