Last week was truly special as we welcomed Mikey, our newest therapy dog, to the Sonas family! Freshly certified by Irish Therapy Dogs, six-year-old Mikey is now part of our weekly routine, spreading joy among our residents. We also had the pleasure of celebrating Kevin's birthday, surrounded by love and laughter with his wonderful wife, Marie. The afternoon was filled with smiles and cherished memories, leaving Kevin absolutely delighted. 💙 Between Mikey’s first visit and Kevin’s celebration, it was a week to remember!

Our residents have been having a fantastic time in Arts and Crafts sessions, expressing their artistic flair through beautiful paintings and unique decorations. 🎃 Excitement was in the air at Sonas Nursing Home Athlone during our recent Halloween-themed cookery session! Our residents at Cloverhill have been having a fantastic time this week! 🎉 From shooting hoops with a fun game of basketball 🏀 to crafting beautiful paper flowers 🌸, there’s been no shortage of creativity and excitement. They’ve also enjoyed reading newspapers and magazines, solving word search puzzles, and building with bricks! 🧩 To top it all off, we had some relaxing knitting and a calming Colour Therapy session 🎨🧶. It's been a wonderful week full of engaging activities!

Our amazing staff at Sonas Knock Nursing Home took a well-deserved break and got competitive with a fun round of Table Pong! 🤩👏 Laughter, friendly rivalry and team spirit filled the air as everyone joined in on the action.
