It was a great pleasure to present the SportsTech Ireland Industry report at the International Rugby Experience in Limerick today. Thank you Rob Hartnett for MCing the event. The day kicked off with an overview from Gráinne Barry cofounder of #sportstechireland. This was followed by our partners EY and Ian Sheerin discussing the key findings of the report, which can be downloaded here https://lnkd.in/eE8FmJpf Thank you to Aimée Williams ☘ who moderated an excellent panel on 'Why Ireland for Sports Tech' with Brian Moore PhD Trev Keane and Paul Ryan. Our next panel focused on 'The Future of Sports Tech Talent' moderated by Rob and made up of Kieran Collins, Denise Martin and Neil Ryan. Finally we received an incredible master class in 'AI in Sports' from Patrick Lucey. Martina Skelly cofounder of #sportstechireland summed up the event in her closing remarks. I would like to thank everybody who attended the event and I look forward to collaborating with you in the future. The talent and knowledge in the room is a clear demonstration of the energy in this sector with clear opportunities for growth into the future.
