    🚨 How many exceptional employees, especially women, are being overlooked for promotions they’ve earned due to biased and inaccurate tools like the 9-Box grid? 📝A study by MIT Sloan associate professor Danielle Li revealed a troubling reality: female employees consistently outperform their male counterparts but are still less likely to be promoted. 🔍 The data: - Women receive higher performance ratings than men, yet receive 8.4% lower 9-Box ratings for potential.🫨 - Female employees were 14% less likely to be promoted, despite their achievements. - Moving from medium to high potential in the 9-Box grid increases promotion chances by 75%, while a shift from medium to high performance only raises it by 27%. ⚠️ This means even the top performer on your team can be rated below a lower performer simply due to the subjective measure of "potential."
