One in 10 people around the world are living with diabetes, it is a lifelong condition and the number of people that have it is growing. Working with our Diabetes colleagues in the Hospital & Community we have created a five part podcast series on Diabetes. Each episode has experts that will talk about different aspects of managing the lifelong condition. We also have a very important contribution from one of our patients that is living with Type 1 Diabetes. Launched to coincide with October Health Awareness month and supported by the South Dublin County Partnership Health Project we hope that after listening you will have a better understanding of what diabetes is and how it can be managed. It can make all the difference to a person.
