Launch of EU CAP network report  The latest EU CAP Network report ‘Women-led innovation in agriculture and rural areas’ was launched today (October 15), to celebrate International Day of Rural Women. This day of celebration was implemented by the United Nations General Assembly and aims to highlight the role and situation of women in rural areas. This report is based on a Workshop held in Krakow, Poland, spanning over two days this April. Over 80 people attended, hailing from 24 EU countries. One of the organisers, Teagasc’s Anne Kinsella, explains: “The workshop brought together women currently at the helm of innovation, as well as those aspiring to lead, alongside advisors, researchers, community activists, policy makers and other key stakeholders”. This work was done in association with the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development, European Commission. You can read the full report at the link below: https://lnkd.in/duuwUkmh
