Such an honour for TechFoundHer's CEO Máirín Murray to be part of today's event at Google organised by the French Government with opening address by the French Ambassador to Ireland Céline Place. We believe that a key strategy for ensuring the ethical application of AI is building inclusive innovation in Europe - with women actively contributing as innovators and tech leaders as well as to the discourse! Lots of discussions today about the importance of education and training - we believe that AI literacy is not a passive activity and most powerful when it's experiential and hands on. Excited to build on the new connections from today as we create a network of women tech founders across Europe who are blazing a trail of what responsible Innovation in AI looks like. Amazing contributors from Academia, Industry and Policy Makers included Angelika Sharygina Barry O'Sullivan Ben O'Bright Ollie Irwin, Oana Goga Marguerite Barry Mathieu Gorge Imelda C. Thank you Jean-Michel Portefaix Delphine Tessier for excellent event. Thanks for photos Miren. M S. Angelika Sharygina

Access grant funding for business, overcome operational challenges, deliver impactful social value, and boost business growth. TEDx Speaker | Business Fanatic | Social Value Champion | Bookworm

I need to apologise in advance, because I am *sure* to accidentally forget to tag someone in this post! There were just too many amazing folk involved with the all-island TechFoundHer Innovation Labs programme. Through consultancy services, I've put the S back into ESG - designing unique, cost-effective, and impactful Social Value Delivery Plans for SMEs and large corporates (including some of NI's Top 100/10 companies), as well as providing ongoing oversight and management of multi-year Social Value Delivery Plans. Through providing these services, I could see the complexities of this ecosystem; how many disjointed gaps there are, as well as the missed income opportunities for social enterprises and potential ramifications for companies if social value is not well managed. The concept for Inspired Social Value, an integrated social value matching and management platform, was born. It was a privilege to be accepted on to TechFoundHer's first Innovation Labs programme; designed to equip female entrepreneurs with the tools and skills needed to innovate with technology. Delivered and supported by a roll call of Champions and Experts, myself and 34 other creative, passionate, and skilled women were provided with insights, frameworks, and the tools needed to progress our ideas. Ideas that were taken seriously - for technology solutions reaching across sectors and society - everything from tourism to education and enterprise to healthcare. A special thank you to Máirín Murray for delivering a game-changing programme, as well as to Dr Lollie Mancey, Áine Denn, Miriam Elst, Jenny Ervine, Tina Calder, Alison McMurtrie, and Jemma Simpson for sharing their knowledge and experiences. Thanks also to Claire Brannigan, Pauline Timoney, and Angela Wilson, my fellow participants who are always up for discussing MVPs over a Guinness. There is more work to do, and this programme is just the beginning. But it has given me a clear roadmap for the way forward and I'm excited to see where I take Inspired Social Value to next. Innovation Labs was supported by InterTradeIreland, Invest Northern Ireland, and Enterprise Ireland through the Shared Island initiative. I am hopeful it will be the first of many. #TechFoundHer #InnovationLabs #FemaleEntrepreneurship #FemaleFounder #TechStartUp #ESG #SocialValue

Thank you Hamida Aman. This is what an innovator looks like. You are the best of us. Such an inspiration. “For us, it’s a way to provide hope,” said Hamida Aman, the Afghanistan-born, Swiss-raised entrepreneur behind the satellite channel Begum TV. “For women in Afghanistan, television is their only window into the world. Especially now, when they’re confined to their homes; there are no schools, no work for them and no parks or leisure activities.” https://lnkd.in/d_Ehd5Yr #EndGenderApartheid #RaiseAPen #EducationCantWait Sarah Porter Dr Lollie Mancey Áine Kerr

Head of UKI @ HubSpot for Startups

New HubSpot For Startups content alert 📣 We've launched a new guide on "Pre-Seed vs. Seed Funding" Thanks to Oli Hammond (Partner and VC at Fuel Ventures 🚀) for his contribution to this piece... sneak peak below & check out the link in the comments. "For most pre-seed founders, I would say don't rely on money to start your company; rely on money to grow your company... That bar ramps up when it comes to seed. With seed funding, I would expect the company to have a live product in market that people are willing to pay for.”
