The Irish Times Group has announced its acquisition of the 50% interest in GLOSS Publications, held by co-founders Jane McDonnell and Sarah McDonnell. The acquisition is part of the Irish-owned media group’s strategy to expand and enhance its range of premium digital services and products. Gloss Publications has enjoyed working with The Irish Times over many years and we believe now is a good time to build on that relationship to bring the special qualities of The Gloss, The Gloss Interiors and thegloss.ie and our premium events, including The Gloss Gala, to a wider audience. THE GLOSS will continue to be published on the first Thursday of every month in large glossy print format with The Irish Times. The magazine will continue to be published in a smaller super-glossy format, available to purchase on newsstands from the first Friday of the month. THE GLOSS Interiors will be published with The Irish Times, and on newsstands, in spring and autumn. Jane and Sarah McDonnell and the talented team at Gloss Publications will continue to work with The Irish Times and build on the strong foundations that have been established to ensure THE GLOSS continues to flourish into the future.

THE GLOSS MAGAZINE is seeking a Digital Editor to join its Editorial team. The ideal candidate for the role will have editorial experience working in digital and or print media, social media management experience, an eye for detail and a keen interest in the worlds of fashion, beauty, culture and interiors. The Digital Editor will be responsible for our daily digital output including management and production of our website, THEGLOSS.ie, as well as newsletters and social media and will be responsible for traffic and website growth targets.
