Tourism Ireland in Spain has been on the road this week, presenting to travel agents in Bilbao, Santander and Santiago de Compostela – all key cities in Northern Spain with direct access to Ireland. The roadshow has been organised in conjunction with our key partner and leading Spanish tour operator Special Tours. We’re delighted that Kilbeggan Distillery Visitor Centre and Galway Food Tours have joined us to showcase their products to the Spanish travel agents in attendance. #TourismIreland #SpecialTours #KilbegganDistillery #GalwayFoodTours

We’re delighted to welcome six leading German tour operators to Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands this week. These tour operators are important partners for Tourism Ireland, as they bring valuable German tourists to the island of Ireland each year. We aim to familiarise them with our superb tourism offering, given that this is a key time to influence the addition of new tourism products to their programmes for 2025 and beyond. Here they are at Cloughan Farm & Cookery School and The Shed Distillery. #TourismIreland #FailteIreland

Earlier today, we were delighted to have the opportunity to introduce Tourism Minister Catherine Martin, T.D. to ‘Ireland at your fingertips’ – an exhibition we’re supporting, together with the Embassy of Ireland France - Ambassade d'Irlande en France, to coincide with the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. It’s an innovative photographic exhibition – by French artist The Blind – that introduces people to Ireland and its culture through an immersive digital art experience that is accessible to visually impaired people. Minister Martin is pictured with Mr Jacques-Henri Semelle, Deputy Mayor to the 15th arrondissement of Paris (left), and Séverine Lecart (right).

This week, Tourism Ireland is attending the British Masters at The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Great Britain, together with four tourism companies from the island of Ireland. One of the DP World Tour’s annual golf competitions, the British Masters attracts thousands of spectators each year – providing a fantastic platform to showcase our superb golf offering and inspire British golfers to come and play some of our top courses on their next golf holiday. We're reminding golfers that the Irish Open will take place at Royal County Down next month, The Open returns to Royal Portrush in 2025 and that Adare Manor will host the Ryder Cup in 2027.
